Parallels Automation for Cloud Infrastructure is a complete solution for delivering Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to SMBs and developers. Parallels Cloud Infrastructure is deployed together with Parallels Automation to provide virtualization, automation, billing, and customer self-service capabilities, together with an online store that your customers can use to purchase Cloud services from you. It's modular and extensible, so you can add or subtract services to meet your needs.
Messaging and Collaboration improvements include enhanced support for BlackBerry™ Enterprise Server Provisioning, as well as support updates for SharePoint Foundation 2010 SP1, Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Exchange 2010 SP1 and Exchange 2007 SP3.
SaaS Module improvements include better management and distribution of application resources for your customers including the ability for service providers to configure an application and its components to be accessed from the left menu of an end-user control panel. Depending on the application, an end-user can now either view or manage application components.
Windows Shared Hosting improvements include role-based installation of Windows 2008 R2 Shared Hosting Server, as well as support for Microsoft WebMatrix, ASP.NET 4.0, PHP 5.2.17 and MS SQL 2008 R2 database hosting.
Deployment improvements include support Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64) operating system and the IIS7.5 Shared hosting services.
Windows Hosting Infrastructure improvements include automatic deployment and configuration processes for Active Directory server, SQL Server instances, Microsoft Provisioning System server, and other Windows-based services components - resulting in greatly improved deployment times. With POA 5.3 automated deployment is accomplished by assigning a role to each server being deployed.
