Creates new team dedicated to customer and partner success; hires new head of sales in EMEA; releases new toolset in Parallels PartnerNet to assist cloud developers and ISVs; introduces complete SaaS multi-party incident management solution
RENTON, WA – Oct. 29, 2013 — Parallels, a leading hosting and cloud services enablement provider, has seen tremendous growth of its partner channel year-over-year and more than a 400% increase in partners who use the Parallels PartnerNet portal. Expanding its commitment to partners, Parallels is creating a new team led by Mark Hindsbo, senior vice president, Customer Success. Hindsbo, formerly vice president of Application Partner & Development Sales Business, at Microsoft, will focus on the success of partners across the entire lifecycle of developing, deploying and managing services. Jacek Murawski, formerly general manager for Poland at Microsoft, also joins the company as vice president of sales, EMEA, to further accelerate cooperation with service providers and hosters in that region. Expanding its commitment to support partners and manage incidents across multiple partners to maintain high service performance levels, Parallels is also introducing a new multi-party incident management solution, Parallels Support Exchange, enabled by Cisco ServiceGrid, which will help reduce the cost and complexity of service management.

A new feature set within Parallels PartnerNet lets service providers and ISVs not only manage a company’s profile, but also create and manage pages for APS certified applications and solutions. These customizable pages will help ISVs differentiate themselves by including assets such data sheets, videos and a link to APSstandard.org. The new feature set is also designed to help Parallels service provider partners search through APS-certified applications so they can quickly and easily discover new third-party services to expand their offerings.
