The Parallels Product Expert (PPE) program consists of our customers across the Parallels Community who are passionate about our products. Our PPE’s are recognized for their high level of technical expertise, willingness to participate in interactive conversations with other members of the Parallels Community and for being leaders in their knowledge of our products.
Our PPE’s are independent of Parallels and share their thoughts and opinions in our Forums and online community pages such as Facebook and Twitter. PPE’s offer valuable advice on their experiences and come from a wide variety of backgrounds including business owners, programmers, Parallels Partners and individual users of our products. The varied background of PPE’s help round out our conversations that take place every day in the fast growing Parallels Online Community
Potential candidates for the Parallels Product Expert program are those that have a track record of providing valuable technical advice within the community and have demonstrated a long term commitment to regularly participating in Parallels technical support forums. If you would like to become a PPE, you can either apply directly yourself or nominate a fellow community member. Once the PPE team has received the application or nomination, potential candidates undergo a careful validation process in which a team of Parallels employees analyzes whether or not the candidate fulfills the criteria of what it means to be a PPE.
Each year, Parallels hosts Parallels Summit where the entire Parallels ecosystem - including our partners, customers, ISV's, press, analysts, vendors and staff - come together for three days of seminars, educational sessions, networking and of course FUN! This year's Parallels Summit 2013 in Las Vegas was the largest ever with attendees from destinations worldwide.
Each year, Parallels Worldwide Support is honored to invite one of our Parallels Product Experts who specialize in our Service Provider products to attend as our guest. In 2013, Faris Raouf, a "certified Plesk geek" and owner of Cymru1.net, was flown in from the UK to participate in Parallels Summit 2013. Faris spent his time attending sessions on topics relevant for his business, meeting peers from the Cloud Software industry, Parallels staff and his fellow PPE's who were also in attendance. Faris referred to his experience as being "Emperor for a Week." As one of our most active PPE's, we thank you right back Faris!
