We are ending support for our Server for Mac product line, and will be working toward a future new server product line based on the Parallels Desktop for Mac code base.
Effective immediately, you will no longer be able to purchase new licenses for or renew maintenance or support agreements.

    Parallels hypervisor technology opens the door to up to 12 virtual CPUs, 64GB virtual RAM, 16 virtual NICs and 2TB virtual hard drives for each of your virtual machines.

    Parallels Server for Mac 4.0 enables virtualization on the Mac platform while supplying performance, flexibility and management extensibility.

    Virtual machine provisioning up to 12 virtual CPUs and 64GB of RAM optimized to take advantage of hardware based Intel Extended Page Tables (EPT) and Intel FlexPriority capabilities.

    • Support for up to 16 virtual network adapters per virtual machine
    • Support for virtual networks (VLAN)
    • Up to 62GB RAM per Virtual Machine
    • Virtual guest disk size up to 2TB
    • Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) support in virtual machines
    • Support for 32-bit and 64-bit platforms
    • Up to 8 USB 2.0 and 8 USB 1.1 devices are supported per virtual machine
    • Shared folders for Linux and Mac OS guest OSs
    • Integrated Parallels Updater for automatic updates

    Is a command line interface available for Parallels Server for Mac?

    For large installations or environments with automation requirements, Parallels Server for Mac 4.0 includes an extensive and well-documented Command Line Interface (CLI). Parallels Server for Mac 4.0 also comes complete with a fully documented XML RPC API (Application Programming Interface) to allow even further automation. See documentation.
